Our Story

New Beginning Church started with a step of obedience to God's calling by Ps. Steven Phang. He started the new Church in his house in Singapore in mid-January 2005 attended by 20 people. Without having a permanent place and uncertain venue for the next service, the congregation brought the Church into prayer.

With the blessings of God, the Church was given a place at Concorde Hotel (previously known as Le-Meridien Hotel) the following Sunday. Even more miraculously, the rental fee for one year was paid for. Not only is a place that God has provided in an extraordinary way, but God has also provided ministers who love God and are burdened to help develop this Church.

By the grace of Jesus Christ, the Church has continued to grow and minister especially to the Indonesian community in Singapore. Since 2016, the Church has started weekly English service to minister to the English community in Singapore.
